Surferfactory Surf Shop & School Costa Rica was opened by a team of locals surfers in May of 2009. Having acquired experience over many years and having worked with different surf schools and camps in Costa Rica, Mexico, Nicaragua and many parts of the USA, helped to develop and establish the idea of Surfer Factory as a surf school and surfboard maker.
You can find everything around to surf at Surfer Factory surf shop, like Surfboards of all kinds of beginner boards to high-performance surfboards. A wide selection of Custom X bodyboards as well as second-hand surfboards to buy.
If you wish to learn to surf, surf lessons for beginners, intermediate, and advanced are available on a daily basis, or if you just need some gear you forgot to bring with you Surfer Factory has it available for you.
Surfer Factory Surf shop offers wax, leashes, Astro-decks, repair-kits, fins new and used (FCS, Future and others), fin-keys, wax-combs, car straps, Lycras or Rashguards (for sun and belly protection) different kinds of sunscreen, board shorts, bikinis, t-shirts, hats, beer cozies surf travel guides, tide Charts, or you are able to hire a photographer / videographer through surferfactory to capture you ripping on some tropical waves, and who wouldn’t want that perfect wave framed for life! Photo/video coaching and analysis has been widely used by top athletes for years and so does COMPLETE surf shop & surf school!

Surfer Factory Surf shop & school offers different packages for men and women & children of all ages and abilities from beginner through intermediate to advanced. 1 day, 3 days and 5-day courses are available!
Surfer Factory Surf shop & school is equipped with top of the line equipment. Longboard to Shortboard beginner to advanced for every situation. We use our own brands of Epic and Surfer Factory surfboards as well as many top brands such as NSP boards for beginners but we also have a big variety off Fiberglass Shortboards, Fishes, Funshapes and Longboards like Al Merrick, Lost, Super, just to name a few.
At Surferfactory surf school and surf shop, we work with North American standards, safety and comfort are always a top priority. Language is not a barrier at Surfer Factory surf school we have English, Spanish and German-speaking instructors. You are also able to book your lesson with a male or female instructor.
